The Inverness Board of Fire Commissioners is responsible for testing, appointing, promotions, and disciplinary hearings of the sworn full-time personnel of the Fire Protection District. The Board of Fire Commissioners generally meet at 3:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each quarter and the meetings are open to the public.
Meeting agendas are posted to this site at least 48 hours in advance of each meeting, and minutes are posted after approved.
Inverness FPD is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
